WriteGirl recently published Reflections, the third edition of Lines & Breaks, our online literary journal. From tiny epiphanies while surveying bedside lamps to an ode to one’s hands, WriteGirl community members share reflections on their identity, their families, their passions and their futures. We’re excited to have this new online vehicle to showcase the creative work of our teens, alums and special guest writers.

An initiative of the President’s Committee on the Arts & the Humanities (PCAH). The President’s Committee partners with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to administer the program.
WriteGirl is a creative writing and mentoring organization that promotes creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills to empower teen girls.
