All proceeds from sales of the book go directly back to WriteGirl, helping to support creative writing and mentoring for hundreds of girls.
WriteGirl launched their newest anthology at the Los Angeles Public Library on January 11, 2014 with a public reading event and reception.
Pre-launch activities included an inspirational writing workshop led by Sholeh Wolpe, an acclaimed Iranian-American poet, literary translator, and writer. Later, Sholeh joined the authors of YOU ARE HERE as they took to the stage to share excerpts and stories from the anthology.
